Drive for Dyslexia
The Brighton Athletic Department has hosted Drive for Dyslexia, an annual golf tournament, since 2007. Held each year in the spring, this event supports a wide variety of needs across our campus. It is typically a four man scramble, 18 hole tournament which includes raffle items, silent auctions, door prizes, and on-course games.
Since its inception, proceeds from the Drive for Dyslexia have supported our athletic department improvements such as air conditioning in the gym, new bleachers, updated uniforms, and court curtain dividers. Our latest tournament helped us purchase a van for transportation to expand off-campus academic, athletic, and recreational opportunities for our students. Golfers in the greater capital area can form a team and sign up to play. In addition, sponsorship opportunities are available for both individuals and businesses.

Teaching students the way they learn
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
