Opportunities to Volunteer

Brighton Parent Organization

Our mission is simple — to assist The Brighton School and our Bengal community through fun and fellowship. The Brighton Parent Organization is a volunteer-driven organization that joins parents, teachers, and students together through a wide variety of school activities and events. Our organization strives to extend our Brighton family beyond our campus and into the greater Baton Rouge area by educating others on learning differences.

As a Brighton parent you are automatically a member of the BPO! We also welcome grandparents, family friends, and others throughout our Baton Rouge community to become members as well.

For more information on how you can play a role, contact Kayla Abadie, BPO President at kmabadie@gmail.com.

Brighton Men's Club

The mission of The Brighton Men’s Club is to provide a forum for the men of The Brighton School to increase their involvement and knowledge of the education of their students; plan and host social events to foster camaraderie and fellowship; maintain the grounds of the school through occasional volunteer efforts; and be positive role models for the young men attending The Brighton School.

All men over the age of 21 are eligible to join. We encourage you to consider membership to support the school in various capacities and have fun & Christian fellowship while doing so.

Meeting are held on campus with a meal provided. Please email Bart Gremillion, Men’s Club President at bartgremillion5@icloud.com for information on meeting dates and times.

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
