Billy Pritchard

Term: 2023-2026
Billy is a parent of a child with dyslexia and an experienced educator who has worked with dyslexia students ranging from 2nd grade through the doctoral level. While Billy finished up his doctoral work, he spent two years working in the Office of Accessibility Resources at the largest public university in the state of New York.  In that role, he coordinated extended time testing, technology accommodations, and advocating on behalf of students who encountered university professors who decided it would be a good idea to flout federal disability laws.  Currently, Billy is a part of the social studies faculty at Episcopal School of Baton Rouge.  He is thrilled to serve the school board with the perspective of an experienced educator who is in the classroom on a daily basis.
