Katie Fowler, BS

Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Intervention: Purdue University

Mrs. Fowler is in her 10th year of working with students with disabilities and 2022 was her first year here at Brighton. She has experience working with ages kindergarten through 12th grade. Her previous education jobs include teaching for 3 years as a middle school special education teacher, 4 years as the director of a special needs and foster care ministry, and 3 years as an early childhood educator. Mrs. Fowler met her husband in Baton Rouge in 2012. They then moved to Missouri and then Wisconsin but in June of 2022 moved back to Baton Rouge with their two daughters. Mrs. Fowler is so excited to be creating and teaching the Jump Start program here at Brighton as her passion has always been helping students build foundational life skills that they will need beyond high school.
