Fred began his tenure with Brighton in the Fall of 2018 working with kindergarten through twelfth-grade students as the school’s art teacher. Fred believes the fundamentals are crucial to developing strong art skills, which can be seen in the work of his students. Not only is Fred passionate about art. His other passion is soccer, and he brings that passion to Brighton’s sports programs. Fred is the school’s cross-country coach, and high school and middle school soccer coach. Prior to becoming a member of the Brighton family, Fred held a similar position at The Runnels School for five years. Fred is focused on teaching student-athletes the importance of being responsible, accountable, and punctual so they can apply the lessons learned in sports and use them in everyday life.

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
