Sara Johnston

Sara's passion for dyslexia began when her daughter was diagnosed in 2022. Both she and her daughter joined the Brighton family that same year. If you've been on Brighton's campus, you've likely seen Sara's smiling face in multiple different areas of the school. Sara has served the school as a permanent guest teacher, Administrative Assistant, and now as 3rd grade classroom teacher. As an energetic educator at heart, Sara has the drive and determination for helping children that struggle.
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
