Kaitlyn Biri joined the Brighton family in October 2024. She works with elementary students to make math less intimidating and more exciting—especially for those with dyscalculia—and helps students with dyslexia grow into confident, capable readers. Kaitlyn studied Mass Communication at Nicholls State University and moved into the teacher profession in 2021. She became a certified teacher through the Teach Ascension program, teaching 1st grade in Ascension Parish. Ms. Biri is dedicated to empowering her students to see themselves as capable, curious, and lifelong learners.
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
