Kerry joined The Brighton School’s Academic Center staff in 2024 as the sixth through twelfth grade math therapist.  Kerry comes to Brighton from Australia.  She taught in Australia for many years, teaching everything from Mathematics to Science to Learning Support for grades 7 to 12. When she and her husband landed in Louisiana, she discovered the wonderful opportunity to get a Dyslexia Practitioner license. Brighton will enable her to work with both of her passions - working with students with language learning challenges and mathematics. In Kerry’s spare time, she loves exploring Louisiana and experimenting with different creative pursuits.

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
