Jillian Hinchliffe is thrilled to be a part of the Brighton family!  She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education for grades 1-5.  In her time teaching, she has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. Before Brighton, she previously taught Dyslexic students and fell in love with supporting them through their learning experiences.  She loves teaching because she can find joy in being able to support her students through their academic journey.  She believes all children learn their own way and strives to support the needs of her students.  She will go above and beyond for them to ensure they have a good educational experience. She is looking forward to utilizing her expertise in different teaching strategies to best support her students and teach them the way they learn!

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
