Hayley Harper joined the team at Brighton in 2018 and is currently a dyslexia therapist in the Academic Center. Prior to that, she taught 3rd - 5th grade at Brighton, kindergarten, first, and third grades in Jackson, MS. Hayley received a Master of Education in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College in the fall of 2019 and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist in November of 2019. She has been trained in the methods of Alphabetic Phonics, Sequential English Education (SEE), The Association Method, and Phonics First/Structures. She is passionate about every student having access to an education tailored to their specific needs, and teaches them in a personalized way to help them succeed.
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
