Kimberly Gomez, BA

Bachelor's of Business Administration, Radford University

After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, when her youngest child started school Kim became a substitute teacher and fell in love with teaching. She decided to become a certified elementary teacher and holds a special place in her heart for kids who learn differently. Kim is a mom of five amazing children, and two with learning differences, with one of them on the autism spectrum. Kim understands the extra challenges that come along with raising a child who learns differently. She is excited to walk this journey with your student and join the Brighton family!

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
