Coach Lax has been teaching and coaching for over 12 years in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. He began his coaching career assisting the Louisiana Tech University baseball team. He has experience coaching baseball, softball, basketball, and cross country. At Brighton, he is serving our athletic department as Head Cross Country Coach and Head Girls Basketball Coach. He also teaches PE for all grades and secondary Health.
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
