Parent Education Forums

The Brighton School Parent Forum Series is a resource designed to help Brighton families as well as families throughout the area. These forums are highly recommended for new-to-Brighton families and encouraged for all current families.

Throughout our forum series, we’ll explore the neurological differences in the dyslexic brain and how ADHD affects students' thinking, learning, and behavior. Discover ways to assist your child at home with skills that relate to reading and math, learn techniques for improving focus and self-regulation, and find simple but meaningful ways to keep your child engaged all summer long to prevent the summer slide.

Please contact our Director of Therapies & Testing, Theresa Hastings, at thastings@thebrightonschool.org for more upcoming parent forum dates and information.

We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
