Lisa Pritchard is a veteran English teacher who has been involved in several aspects of education – in the classroom, as a department chair, as a residential parent at a boarding school, as a coach, as an instructional coach, and as a board member. Lisa is originally from Buffalo, New York where she used to work in several capacities at her alma mater The Buffalo Seminary, and where she earned her Master of Arts in English at the University at Buffalo. She’s no stranger to Louisiana, though, meeting her husband while earning her BA in English and French at Centenary College of Louisiana. They both moved back to work at Episcopal School of Baton Rouge and to be closer to family (and away from the cold!) Family ended up getting closer than expected because they and Noah now share their home with both their mothers and two cats. It was a fortuitous move when they crossed paths with Brighton, knowing their son would be in good hands and Lisa loved the school so much that, when the opportunity arrived to work there, she jumped at it.
